Introduction<\/b><\/h3>\n

Families living in subdivided housing unit in Kowloon City is the service target. We provide different service to children and parents with \u201cBody-Mind-Spirit\u201d support through a multi and cross-sectoral collaboration model of social, welfare and medical care. This project also promotes the participation of those families in community activities and the establishment of a mutual support network among them.<\/span><\/p>\n

The operating expenses of the<\/span> project is sponsored by the Mental Health Project Funding Scheme of the Food and Health Bureau<\/b><\/u><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Goal<\/b><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Provide respite child care services for parents of subdivided units to relieve the stresses of them<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Build up the confidence and ability of parents of subdivided units to take care of their children, as as to alleviate their distress of child care<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Improve the learning motivation of children in subdivided units to reduce parenting pressure on parents on homework\u2019s guidance<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Foster the mutual aid network of parents of subdivided units for relieving their pressure<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Early identification of parents and children facing emotional issues with counselling services and referrals, so that parents can solve emotional issues as early as possible<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Organize talks and workshops to enhance mental health awareness<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Render group activities for parents and children of subdivided households<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Recruit volunteer tutors to give out \u201cone-on-one\u201d homework guidance to the children online\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Service achievement sharing helps to deepen the public’s understanding of mental health and the needs of less resource families in subdivided units<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Foster parent mutual help groups and build up a parent support network<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
